Model Contracts Workshop
This interactive workshop is taught by a faculty of industry experts in which participants become more familiar with the structure and uses of AIEN’s renowned model contracts. It also sparks discussion and debate among experts from multinational companies and host governments, which contribute to the development and improvement of these contracts.
International Energy Law, Contracts and Negotiations “Short Course”
Co-hosted each year with the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and the Institute for Energy Law, this course has become the standard training ground for energy negotiators. One week is focused on upstream issues and a second week on midstream issues.
Negotiation Skills Workshop
This hands-on workshop focuses on commercial and cultural issues and other matters that affect how negotiators practice their craft on the ground in host countries. It is specifically designed to assist individuals relatively new to commercial negotiations on the international side of the E&P industry, but is also a fantastic refresher for more senior negotiators seeking to sharpen their negotiating skills.
