Join the Canada Chapter for a presentation on "The Third Wave of Digitization in the Oil & Gas Industry." The presentation will provide an overview of the impact of missed tipping points, the need for oil and gas companies to reinvent themselves to stay competitive and the role of digital technologies in that transformation. In particular, the discussion will focus on the industrial Internet of Things, Cloud Computing and Edge Computing - all of which have the potential to significantly drive down costs and provide a competitive edge.

As National Director of Cisco Canada's Mining and Oil and Gas vertical business, Brad Bechtold is responsible for developing and leading Cisco's go-to market strategy for energy. Brad works with industry partners, education institutions, and energy organizations to address critical technology challenges facing the industry today. Brad has more than 25 years in the energy industry and brings his significant experience to bear as part of Cisco's Canada's Digital Transformation Team. Brad sits on several technology boards and is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
