Asia Chapter Event "Indonesia Renewable Energy Outlook: A SOE’s Business Perspective"
4:00 - 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2023
Assegaf Hamzah & Partners Sky Garden | Capital Place, 36th floor, Jakarta
Amien Sunaryadi, President Commissioner & Independent Commissioner, PLN Board of Commissioners
Dannif Danusaputro, CEO, Pertamina New and Renewable Energy
Indonesia's regulatory framework envisions Pertamina and Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) playing a significant role in the energy industry. PLN is effectively the only electricity offtaker in Indonesia, and while Pertamina has long relinquished its role in the management of PSCs in Indonesia, there are 30 PSC extensions that were awarded to the state-owned corporation. The most notable of Pertamina's PSCs are the Mahakam and Rokan block. The government is tasked with achieving 23% renewable energy generation of Indonesia’s energy mix and, with their increasing roles, Pertamina and PLN are expected to continue to open new partnership opportunities that could provide investment and technical expertise, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
A networking reception will follow the presentation. Registration is complimentary for members and non-members. Please register at the link to the right by March 16.
