Join the CIS-FSU Chapter and the American Chamber of Commerce Azerbaijan (AmCham) for a joint event in Baku! The purpose of this event is to help professionals in different industries to get acquainted with, and gain a better understanding of, AIPN’s model contracts. The following topics will be featured:
- Most common AIPN contracts used in the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan and internationally;
- Detailed information on AIPN model contracts; such as the Confidentiality Agreement, Joint Operating Agreement (JOA), and Secondment Agreement;
- The most heavily negotiated issues in model contracts governed by English law; such as indemnities, representations and warranties, and issues concerning their enforcement in civil law countries such as Azerbaijan.
The event will include refreshment/coffee breaks, providing an opportunity to network with the speakers and other event attendees.
