The conference, themed “From Mexico to Argentina: Latin America at Length” will feature sessions on the following topics:
- LATAM's Energy Sector: Geopolitics & Challenges
- Hydrocarbons and Renewable Sources
- Vaca Muerta
- The New Midstream Geography
- LNG in the Region
- Offshore Status in the Region
- Rule of Capture and Unitization
In addition, there will be an opportunity to attend an optional workshop on LNG export projects. The interactive workshop will focus on the legal, commercial and contractual framework that will support the development and implementation of LNG export projects including commercial structuring, host government agreements and legislation, commercial agreements for financing, engineering procurement and construction contracts, LNG sales and purchase agreements, pricing and shipping arrangements. Specific issues regarding the Argentine market and Vaca Muerta will be addressed. The workshop will be held after the conference concludes from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 8 featuring speakers from King & Spalding and Wood Mackenzie. Registration is limited to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
