Join the US Chapter for an interactive lunch and learn on the Mexican energy sector.
Under Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the government’s attempts at sweeping policy changes have resulted in copious litigation and an overall adversarial stance in the energy sector. However, CFE's investments in renewables have brought a much more optimistic outlook. Investors now seem to be refocusing on the fundamentals, identifying massive opportunities.
But challenges to operations in the current context remain. Permits cannot be taken for granted, curtailment and other forms of market discrimination persist, and other challenges are impeding progress. Our panelists will provide historical context and examine these new opportunities and challenges.
A buffet-style lunch will be provided.
Registration is $25 for members, $45 for non-members and $15 for students. Please register at the link to the right by April 25.
