Join the US Chapter for our monthly luncheon this summer to learn about new ESG regulations.
Recent amendments to SEC rules, and proposed amendments scheduled to be finalized later this year, will significantly change how public companies disclose risks, financial impact and performance metrics and goals with regard to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.
The new amendments and proposed rules are designed to address inconsistency in sustainability reporting and public company disclosures in SEC filings on such issues as climate-related risks and their potential impacts, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and climate-related targets, goals, and other related information.
Our speakers will examine the shifting environment through the lens of energy stakeholder compliance challenges, including pressure from groups alleging “greenwashing” by companies as well as compliance with emerging sustainability disclosure and due diligence rules in other countries where they operate, and will offer perspectives on steps impacted companies may take now to be prepared to report accurate figures when the new rules go into effect.
Lunch will be served.
Registration is $25 for members, $45 for non-members and $15 for students. Please register at the link to the right by June 23.
