Traveling to Bali
By Air
The gateway to enter Bali by a flight route is through the Ngurah Rai Denpasar International Airport. International and national flights are available around the clock, to take the visitor to the Island of The Gods.
By Land
Public transport to Bali is available through travel companies and buses. If you opt to experience a road trip, be sure that you are equipped and ready for the long hours. From the capital of Jakarta, an overland road trip to Bali can range from 30 hours to a few days.
By Sea
Bali is accessible by ferry ride from the island of Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara. In Lombok, you can explore the beauty of Mount Rinjani and the pristine beaches on the Gili islands. From Java Island, you can get to Bali by taking a ferry from Banyuwangi.
Visas
Indonesia launched a program to ease travelers’ entry process, namely Electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA). The application for the e-VOA can be made before departure or during transit and is currently accessible to foreign nationals from 86 countries. The cost is IDR 500,000. For more information on the visa process, please click here.

Bali Attractions
Bali packs a lot into one small island— from breathtaking waterfalls like Sekumpul in the north to the white sand beaches of Nyang Nyang in the south. Whatever you’re seeking, you’ll probably find: surf-able waves in Batu Bolong, all-night clubs in Seminyak, luxury clifftop hotels in Nusa Dua, and spiritual refuges all around. Snap a pic at the Gateway to Heaven, cut through the jungle to the hidden Gunung Kawi Temple, and catch the sunset and a traditional fire dance at Uluwatu Temple. Just don’t miss the markets—hunt for handcrafted artwork and textiles at the Sukawati Art Market, or snack on street food staples like satay and bakso at the Sindhu Night Market.
