He has been a senior executive in the international energy business over a 40 year career with experience in more than 50 countries, including acting as arbitrator, counsel and expert in O&G disputes. John Gilbert is a partner in Bracewell’s London office. He advises on the resolution of disputes in the energy sector through litigation, arbitration, expert determination and mediation. John has represented clients in a broad range of disputes related to oil and gas exploration and production, the construction and operation of pipelines and the downstream sector. John has particular experience of advising on disputes arising from JOAs.
Martin Gusy is with K&L Gates in New York and heads the firm’s U.S. international arbitration practice.
