Nigel Bankes is Professor Emeritus of Law, Faculty of Law, the University of Calgary, Canada. Prior to his retirement in June 2021, Nigel held the Faculty’s chair in natural resources law. He has previously served as the editor of the Journal of Energy and Natural Resources Law. 

Cristóbal Carmona is an adjunct researcher and lecturer on Indigenous peoples’ rights at the Faculty of Law of Universidad Diego Portales, Chile. 

Øyvind Ravna is Professor (Dr Juris) of Law and head of the Research Group of Sámi and Indigenous Law, at the Faculty of Law, UiT – the Arctic University of Norway, (Tromsø) and Editor-in-Chief of Arctic Review on Law and Politics.
