Mike Arruda is a partner with the international law firm Baker Botts and is partner-in-charge of the Firm’s Asia-Pacific offices. Mike’s practice centers on the acquisition, operation, and divestiture of oil and gas interests for clients in Asia. He represents oil and gas companies that are resident in Asia making acquisitions abroad as well as oil and gas companies seeking to make energy acquisitions in Asia. His clients are involved in the full spectrum of oil and gas activities, from exploration and development through midstream processing and transportation to downstream refining and sales. Mike has represented clients in energy acquisitions and related transactions in more than 25 countries.
