RoseAnne Franco joined Verisk Maplecroft, a global risk analytics firm, in mid-2015 and heads its risk analysis in the oil & gas segment. She most recently led Wood Mackenzie's efforts in country and asset risk and is now responsible for integrating risk analysis between the two firms. She has 15 years of experience and has advised clients in industry, government, and the financial sectors.

During her time at Wood Mackenzie, she launched the Asset Risk Index (ARI) service, assessing country risk across the asset lifecycle, and undertook the upstream commercial analysis. RoseAnne focuses on risk assessment, strategy, and asset valuation. Prior to Wood Mackenzie, she was Senior Analyst on Latin America in research and consulting at PFC Energy in Washington, DC.  Having joined the firm in 2002, she took the lead on regional energy issues and advised companies on opportunity screenings and forming country entry strategies. She also assessed strategy and segment performance on National Oil Companies (NOCs). Previous to PFC Energy, she worked at Kissinger McLarty Associates. RoseAnne holds a Master’s degree from Georgetown University and bachelor degrees in Economics and Government with Honors from the University of Texas.

Eric Nielsen leads Quantum’s business development efforts, where his primary duties include origination and capture of investment opportunities in the oil and gas upstream, midstream, oilfield services and power generation sectors. He is also actively involved in the setting of the firm’s strategy as it relates to public relations and marketing.

Prior to joining Quantum, Eric was a Managing Director at Korn/Ferry International where he led the Houston office for eight years. Eric spent the past eighteen years as an executive recruiter with a focus on senior-level relationships in the energy and industrial sectors (upstream, downstream, oilfield services, chemicals, power, industrial products and services, EPC and alternative/clean technologies), as well as extensive work for private equity backed organizations. Eric began his career at BHP Petroleum where he served in a variety of engineering, operational, A&D and asset management positions. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa and a Master’s in Business Administration from Rice University.

Julie Wilson has covered global conventional exploration since 2011, analyzing the business of exploration. The Exploration team assesses how well the global industry, and individual companies, are performing in finding hydrocarbons and bringing them to market, with a focus on value creation. Additionally, the team assesses the yet-to-find volume and value potential of key basins, and Julie's area of interest is in the Americas. 

Julie has worked at Wood Mackenzie for 18 years in various roles in both the upstream consulting and research divisions. She has worked closely with clients advising on global and local industry issues, with a recent focus on exploration strategy and performance.

Julie moved to Houston from the UK in November 2000. She helped to build the Houston consulting practice and managed a wide variety of international consulting engagements. In 2006 she moved across to the research division and built the Houston-based team focusing on the deepwater US Gulf of Mexico.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Julie worked in BP's upstream business for eight years in London and Aberdeen in a variety of political, commercial, and financial analysis roles, spanning international and domestic North Sea operations and exploration.

Julie graduated from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
